Excel PROPER Function converts text to proper case, where the first letter of each word is capitalized and all other letters are in lowercase.

How to use
To use the PROPER function, follow these steps:
- Click on the cell where you want the proper case text to appear.
- Enter the formula =PROPER(A1), replacing “A1” with the cell reference containing the text you want to convert.
- Press Enter.
Examples
Let’s say you have the following text in cell A1: “hello world.”
Enter =PROPER(A1)
in another cell, and it will display “Hello World.”
If you have the text “exCEL fuNCTIONs” in cell A1, entering =PROPER(A1)
in another cell will yield “Excel Functions.”
Note: The PROPER function will capitalize the first letter of each word in the text and convert the remaining letters to lowercase.
