When we double-click on the <strong>trendline in the chart<\/strong> (or <strong>right-click<\/strong> on it and choose <strong>Format Trendline<\/strong>) we will get the window on the right side where we will see the <strong>Trendline Options<\/strong>. In this window, when we scroll down we will see the <strong>Forecast option<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"276\" height=\"440\" src=\"https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/08\/graphical-user-interface-application-description-17.png\" alt=\"Graphical user interface, application\n\nDescription automatically generated\" class=\"wp-image-11464\" srcset=\"https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/08\/graphical-user-interface-application-description-17.png 276w, https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/08\/graphical-user-interface-application-description-17-188x300.png 188w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 276px) 100vw, 276px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A <strong>forecast is set to 0<\/strong> once the chart is created (<strong>both for forward and backward<\/strong>).
