It\u2019s handy to use this symbol, instead of writing the whole word like \u201cchange\u201d or \u201cdifference\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Take a look at the following example to find out what I mean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"521\" height=\"141\" src=\"https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/06\/data-change.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-285\" srcset=\"https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/06\/data-change.png 521w, https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/06\/data-change-300x81.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 521px) 100vw, 521px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In cells\u00a0<strong>C1<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>E1<\/strong>,\u00a0we have headers called\u00a0<strong>\u201cImpression Change\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>\u201cClicks Change\u201d<\/strong>, which take too much space, so instead we want to change headers to\u00a0<strong>\u201cImpressions \u0394\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>\u201cclicks \u0394\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Inserting the Delta (\u0394) symbol<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are a few ways to insert this symbol. Some methods will only work with Excel and other Office applications&nbsp;while other methods you can also use with different applications, such as notepad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The first method<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Go to&nbsp;<strong>INSERT &gt;&gt; Symbols &gt;&gt; Symbol<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"107\" height=\"94\" src=\"https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/06\/delta-icon.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-286\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A new window will open. Because \u0394 is a Greek letter, choose\u00a0the <strong>\u201eGreek and Coptic\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0option.
