If you create a pivot table, you will notice that there is a little icon that allows you to filter data in rows, but you can\u2019t find the same icon to filter values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this example, we are going to use the following table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Insert a pivot table and check Director and Actor in PivotTable Fields<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You should have this configuration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you can see, there is a triangle icon next to row labels<\/a>, but there is none in Count of Actor<\/strong>. You can get access to the PivotTable value filter by right-clicking inside a PivotTable and choosing Filter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here, you can find a few options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Top 10 Filter<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Keep only selected items<\/strong> \u2013 All the rows you selected before right-clicking will stay, and the others will become hidden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hide selected items<\/strong> \u2013 This option is opposite to the previous one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Top 10<\/strong> \u2013 Gives you the top 10 results<\/a>. The default option won\u2019t work in our case because we don\u2019t have enough rows. If you click this option, you will notice that there are much more options, like:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
