You can do it in a few different\nways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Select all the cells inside a table by dragging.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click header and press <strong>Ctrl + A<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click non-header cell, and press <strong>Ctrl + A<\/strong> twice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, press the <strong>Delete<\/strong> button and the table will disappear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"314\" height=\"140\" src=\"https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/no-table.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4542\" srcset=\"https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/no-table.png 314w, https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/no-table-300x134.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 314px) 100vw, 314px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Remove a table with formatting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You cannot do the same with a table, to which you applied formatting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"311\" height=\"140\" src=\"https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/excel-table-example.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4543\" srcset=\"https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/excel-table-example.png 311w, https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/excel-table-example-300x135.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 311px) 100vw, 311px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>If you try to delete it in the same way the formatting is going to stay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"311\" height=\"140\" src=\"https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/no-table-formatting.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4544\" srcset=\"https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/no-table-formatting.png 311w, https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/no-table-formatting-300x135.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 311px) 100vw, 311px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In this case, it would be better if you select all the cells, as you did in the previous example and navigate to <strong>Home &gt;&gt; Editing &gt;&gt; Clear &gt;&gt; Clear All<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"161\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/clear-all.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4545\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, the result is the same as before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"314\" height=\"140\" src=\"https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/no-table-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4546\" srcset=\"https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/no-table-1.png 314w, https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/no-table-1-300x134.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 314px) 100vw, 314px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Remove a table by converting to range<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Maybe, you just want to delete the table, but want to keep\nthe data inside a table.
