But, when you want to delete these data, you can encounter some problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will show how you can delete created <strong>Pivot table<\/strong> in the text below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Delete Pivot Table From Newly Created Sheet<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For our example, we will use the list of 20 ordered items from various regions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"460\" height=\"485\" src=\"https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/06\/word-image-34.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5961\" srcset=\"https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/06\/word-image-34.png 460w, https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/06\/word-image-34-285x300.png 285w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 460px) 100vw, 460px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, suppose that we created a <strong>Pivot table<\/strong> to find out the total amount of items that were ordered by region.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"204\" height=\"513\" src=\"https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/06\/word-image-35.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5962\" srcset=\"https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/06\/word-image-35.png 204w, https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/06\/word-image-35-119x300.png 119w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 204px) 100vw, 204px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We created this table in the newly created sheet. Since this <strong>Pivot table<\/strong> is created in a new sheet, we can easily delete the entire sheet to get rid of our table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"205\" height=\"285\" src=\"https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/06\/word-image-36.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5963\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Delete Pivot Table From Existing Sheet<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We can also create our <strong>Pivot table<\/strong> in any of the existing <a href=\"https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/training\/worksheets\/\">worksheets<\/a>. All we have to do is select our data, go to <strong>Insert<\/strong>, then go to <strong>Pivot table<\/strong>, and then choose <strong>Existing Worksheet<\/strong> as an option where we want our data to be placed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"396\" height=\"352\" src=\"https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/06\/word-image-37.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5964\" srcset=\"https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/06\/word-image-37.png 396w, https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/06\/word-image-37-300x267.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 396px) 100vw, 396px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We will create the same data as we did in our first example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have to select our entire data at this point. We can do it by simply selecting the entire Pivot table with the pointer or by clicking anywhere on the <strong>Pivot table<\/strong>, going on <strong>Pivot Table Tools-<\/strong> <strong>Analyze<\/strong>, then on <strong>Select<\/strong>, and finally, click on <strong>Entire PivotTable<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"392\" height=\"318\" src=\"https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/06\/word-image-38.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5965\" srcset=\"https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/06\/word-image-38.png 392w, https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/06\/word-image-38-300x243.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 392px) 100vw, 392px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After this, we can simply click on the <strong>Delete<\/strong> button on our Keyboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, if we do not have any data in our columns besides our Pivot table, we could simply <a href=\"https:\/\/officetuts.net\/excel\/training\/deleting-rows-and-columns\/\">delete our columns<\/a> that contain the Pivot table as well.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So far, you surely know how to create a Pivot table in Excel.
