Flash Fill<\/strong> is a tool that is similar to AutoFill<\/strong> and Text to columns<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In contrast to AutoFill,<\/strong> Flash Fill<\/strong> is not restricted to a single row or column, but it also looks at the surrounding cells to find more complicated patterns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It differs from the Text to columns<\/strong> tool in that, it can extract numbers that are separated by different delimiters and can also be located in different positions inside the cell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You can find Flash Fill in three different places:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Let’s use the following example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
